Tijani Mahmoud
Mr. Tijani Mahmoud is an experienced development professional with a strong background in Programme Management and Finance. He has worked extensively with civil society organizations and NGOs, including the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, Willows International, and the Legal Aid Scheme (now Legal Aid Commission).
Currently serving as the Finance Manager at Muslim Family Counselling Services (MFCS), Mr. Mahmoud also supports the organization’s operations and fundraising efforts. He is a Global Trainer for StreetInvest, with expertise in delivering training modules such as Introduction to Street Work, Working with Girls, One-to-One Engagements, Trainer of Trainers, and Headcounts as part of the Principles and Practice of International Street Work.
His experience spans both national and international contexts, having trained street workers and partner organization staff in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Uganda, India, and the United Kingdom. He has also led and supervised street child headcounts with partners such as Street Child of Sierra Leone (2011, 2018), Child in Need Institute in India (2014), and Ugandan Reproductive Health Bureau in Uganda (2015).
As a Board Member of the Suudu Baaba Foundation, Mr. Mahmoud brings valuable expertise in program management, financial oversight, training, and capacity building to advance the foundation’s mission.
