Hawawu Issah
Hawawu Issah is the Head of Programs at Muslim Family Counselling Services (MFCS) and a passionate community advocate dedicated to empowering women, educating youth, and supporting vulnerable groups. She has also worked with the Willows Foundation as a Field Educator and with the National Youth Employment Program as a Teaching Assistant.
With extensive experience in organizing awareness campaigns on gender-based violence, reproductive health, and community development, Hawawu is committed to creating safe and inclusive spaces where individuals can thrive. Her advocacy also extends to supporting street children and providing counselling services to families in need.
As a Board Member of the Suudu Baaba Foundation, she brings strong program management skills, deep community engagement expertise, and a genuine passion for social change.
