Our Passion: Empowering Women, Children, and Youth

For decades, women, children, and youth in Fulani settlements have borne the brunt of systemic exclusion. Many young girls are denied education, women lack access to maternal healthcare, and youth face limited opportunities for skills development or employment.

SBF was founded with a passion to change this narrative. The foundation’s approach is rooted in equity, justice, and empowerment—ensuring that every woman and child has a chance to thrive.

Our interventions include:

• Advocacy for girls’ education: Challenging cultural and systemic barriers that keep girls out of school.
• Maternal health initiatives: Linking women to quality reproductive health services.
• Youth empowerment programs: Training young people in leadership, vocational skills, and entrepreneurship.
• Community awareness campaigns: Educating families on gender equality, human rights, and health issues.

The results are visible—young women are staying in school longer, families are adopting healthier practices, and youth are building livelihoods that lift entire households out of poverty.
